![]() In SS2 you always had "Polito" screaming at you to get moving cause of the stakes. Other: DX had a very different feel than SS2 even though they were very similar in gameplay. Not to mention the lack of any type of emotion in DX. DX's music wasnt bad, but its shameful when you compare it to SS2. DX's augmentation system was certainly deeper and offered more choices to playing. ![]() System Shock 2 was the inventor and as such - SS2. During shoot mode hold Shift and press the key to bring up the cheat console and then enter one of the codes (without the quotes) and press. It was a great achievement by ISA to get the whole augmentation system out of the Unreal engine, but that augmentation system is basically the SS2 system on steroids. But then again, DX had a wider variety of locations and the fact that some people have badass machines that can run DX at 1280x1024x32 with a smooth framerate gives DX the win. The same system running SS2 could keep it at 1024x768x16 with a steady framerate. Deus Ex had good graphics, but the framerate dropped alot. Graphics: This is kinda close but it kinda isnt. Personally, i like SS2 the best even though i played Thief 2 as my first TTLG game. If you played Deus Ex first, then you think its better. If you played System Shock 2 - or 1 for that matter - then you enjoy SS2 the best. And considering that half of TTLG is dedicated to Thief, i assume that most of the people like Thief the best. If you played Thief first, you probably enjoyed it the most. ![]() Continued abuse of our services will cause your IP address to be blocked indefinitely.I think it depended on which of the *big three* youve played first.
